Event organized every two years by Youth Culture Center together with Folk Song and Dance Ensemble „Łódź”. With our group organizer is also group “Anilana”. Together with this two folk groups in this event takes part groups from all over the world. Till now guests of International Folk Festival was folk groups f.e from: Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Israel, Georgia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.



      Festival is an occasion to exchange experiences, establish new contacts and friends, generally gives an opportunity to introduce with folklore and culture other countries. Also creates opportunities to promote Łódź and our rich local folk culture.






      Groups taking part in Festival present their artistic program on numerous performances in Łódź and other cities of region. In free time groups are visiting Łódź, participating in integral parties and recognizing polish folk dances.






      From year to year International Folk Festival are getting to be more prestigious artistic event which in the summer time gather thousand people admiring national folklore of other countries.
